Buddy Carter

Jake-and-Buddy-at-MarmGift of Goodbye came into our lives at the perfect time.  We had been struggling for some time to put down our family horse – Buddy, who had just become too old and sick to keep alive.  When Gift of Goodbye came to our house, the vet was very sensitive to our needs, explaining her work and being respectful and reverent throughout.  She even cut some of Buddy’s tail for us to keep.  She ensured a proper burial and helped us talk through some of our grief.  It was a special experience for which we are very grateful.  We knew Buddy went peacefully and in good hands.                                                                                                        ~Maren and Jake Carter, January 2013
